Car sales since January 2006 have beaten their 2005 levels in every single month, with an average monthly increase of 66%. In a market which is down over 4% year to date and 3.6% in June, this is an excellent achievement and one that bucks the trend of other manufacturers. This increase in sales volume has meant market share has more than doubled since June 2005.
Simon Park, General Manager Sales and Marketing commented,
"I am extremely pleased with the sales growth that we have accomplished this year; achieving six months of continuous growth in a market that is down is a real achievement. We are continuing to recruit new dealers from across the UK and have committed to another television and national press advertising campaign in this quarter."
The next television campaign will again focus on the Savvy and GEN-2 and will air on all ITV channels and Channel 5 from mid August through into September.
